In 2020, Corona (Covid-19) suddenly arrived. And it had a huge impact on public life. In large parts of the world, people were required to stay indoors. For many professions, including models, this meant they could no longer work.
That is why I started a project to support models who had to stay at home. I gave directions for photo shoots via Skype or WhatsApp, for example, while the model took photographs at home. But there were also much more advanced setups in which I operated the camera remotely myself. Because of the distance, and sometimes the delay in communication, this was an unfamiliar way of working. Just like my other photo shoots, this was paid work for the models.
